After seeing some pieces by Giacometti I was inspired to try his technique for myself. This piece started off as a piece of wood which I Stained with dye and drawing ink to give a deep green look. I then used white acrylic with charcoal to give a light shading effect. I am pleased with the way my piece turned out and believe that Giacometti was an excellent artist to look at.
